The last couple of nights has produced some spectacular displays in our skies from the USAF F22's.
Here's a few pics of these fabulous aircraft.

New year and a return to blogger
I've been away from blogger for two years now but have decided to try and bring my blog back to life again in 2016.
I moved away from wildlife photography to concentrate on aviation because to be honest I was fed up with inconsiderate arseholes with dogs and so called "photographers" who cared more about their ego's and getting the images than they did for the wildlife and the environment. Too many times I witnessed trespassing and unlawful damage caused to farmland and private property by so called wildlife photographers and birdes.
Having recently upgraded to a 7Dmkii and a canon 600mm f4 lens I decided to go get back out looking for wildlife.
Here's a taster of my latest images.

Farne Islands 2013
Its been a busy summer for me and I've not been able to update my blog for a while. I've mainly been doing aviation photography this summer this summer but I've also managed my yearly trip to the Farne Islands with Serenity tours.
As always Andrew did his best to get us close to the action and as a result I managed some very nice images. I particularly wanted to do some flight shots with my new 70-200 mk2 lens just to see if the faster focusing made life easier than the 100-400.
I wasn't too sure what to expect this year on the islands after such a hard time at the beginning of the season with the loss of so many birds along our coast but I must say I ended up pleasantly surprised at the large numbers of birds that had made it through the storms.
Here's a few of my images from my trip on the Serenity II with Andrew.
Many thanks to Andrew for another great tip out, looking forward to my next outing soon.
