Having had several failed attempts at wildlife photography outings in our "wildlife rich" Northumberland caused mainly by ignorant people with dogs which are allowed to roam freely and charge at every bird on the Northumberland coast I have decided to no longer waste my life trying to record our wildlife.
Instead I have turned to motorsports and aviation, an area which arseholes with dogs cannot spoil for me.
The final straw for me was my recent visit to Low Newton where I stumbled upon the biggest flock of sanderling i've seen for many years. Once settled on the beach my pal and I got into position to photograph them only to have three seperate groups of arseholes come onto the beach and DELIBERATELY send their dogs at us into the water spooking every bird within 50m or so. Obviously its difficult for arseholes to realise that two guys with 400mm lenses on cameras which are pointing at birds are actually trying to photograph the birds. One female actually encouraged the dogs to go at the sanderling flock because she was upset when we asked her to keep her dogs away from the tiny corner of the beach we were using.
So from now I will not be wasting my time on birds and I will be mainly pointing my lens at aircraft and cars.
